The last 17 months have been very trying for all of us, and here at Oughtibridge Brass Band, we have suffered the loss of loved ones, past band members and dear friends too.
Working with Oughtibridge War Memorial Football Club we invite you to come along to the Memorial Club and support an afternoon of ladies football followed by a short outdoor concert by the band.
We hope that everyone from the surrounding area will come and join us. Please bring a chair or picnic blanket as we are still encouraging social distancing in the grounds of the Club and masks if possible when entering the club to buy drinks.
We will have a memory tree at the event. Everyone is welcome to write a short message and fasten it to the tree. Labels will be available for collection in your local co-ops or at the club on the day
Entry to the event is FREE however we are asking you to either collect tickets from your local co-op or order by ringing one of the numbers below, so the club have an idea of how many people are attending.

Bob Croft

The funeral of one of our long serving members of the band, Bob Croft will take place on Saturday 30th May at 10am. The band will be paying their respects (social distanced of course) ourside the band room at approximately 9.30am. Anyone who would like to join us will be very welcome. If you currently play we would like you to wear your uniform to honour this amazing gentleman

Current Opportunities

We are currently seeking a couple of new players due to our players moving to higher section bands. We are looking for a second trombone and a bass player. If you are looking for a new challenge, and would like to join us for a sensible mix of contests and concerts with a friendly and ambitions 4th section band please contact us either through our website, or our facebook page.
