Following a fantastic 12 months, the band start the year as 4th Section Yorkshire Champions 2022 + 2023 , and took 6th place at the National Finals in Cheltenham. We look forward to next year when we will be competing in the 3rd Section
We rehearse in our own band room in Oughtibridge on Monday and Thursday evenings and are seeking the above player/s to complete our sections. As we move through 2023, we’ve a good mix of ages amongst the band and a great selection of concerts and contests as we approach our promotion to the 3rd section.
We are a welcoming and friendly band where everyone can feel at ease being themselves. We are a valued part of our local community as well as in the wider Yorkshire region.
For people living in and around Sheffield, we can normally provide transport but this may not always be possible. The band room has disabled access and facilities.
